Project(s) Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Shall be the focal point of project works in direct coordination with Area Construction Manager,
  • Responsible for managing, coordinating, and administering the project from the conceptual stages through planning, engineering, procurement, construction, start-up, performance testing, initial operations, and prime contract closeout.
  • Contribute as directed to the construction and logistics plan during pre-construction planning, and take ownership of the agreed budget, programme and organisation at the end of the pre-construction stage.
  • Supervise the development of budgets and schedules, manage performance, report progress, and initiate action to assure program/project objectives and schedules are met and work is performed within budget and according to specifications.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Engineering or Construction Management
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in construction, design, finance and management environment; at least 4 of which are in a Project Engineer/Deputy Project Manager Role
  • Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance
  • Must have complete knowledge of design/build/construction
  • Thorough understanding of corporate and construction industry practise, process, standards and their impact on project activities
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills
