Procurement Officer
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise, assign reviews and participate in purchasing of construction materials and equipment spare parts, and exercise considerable independent judgment in making purchasing decisions in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing orders and administrative works.
Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
Prepare reports and summarize data, including issuing requisitions and value, and executing and monitoring all regular purchasing duties.
Coordinate the scope of work for projects assigned with all departments and suppliers.
Assist in managing and following up overseas orders.
Handle and monitor claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts, and support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of tenders.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
Responsible for the preparation and processing of purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor Degree or equivalent Technical Diploma in Administration
5 to 7 years of experience
Good verbal communication skills, and problem solving skills
Ability to work alone and as a member of a team
Ability to understand and apply Company’s procedures & processes
Knowledge of using Outlook, MS-Office (Excel word, Power Point) and internet search
