Procurement Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, assign reviews and participate in purchasing of construction materials and equipment spare parts, and exercise considerable independent judgment in making purchasing decisions in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure competent quality execution of all regular purchasing orders and administrative works.
  • Maintain complete updated purchasing records/data and pricing in the system.
  • Prepare reports and summarize data, including issuing requisitions and value, and executing and monitoring all regular purchasing duties.
  • Coordinate the scope of work for projects assigned with all departments and suppliers.
  • Assist in managing and following up overseas orders.
  • Handle and monitor claims to factories and vendors for defectives, shortage, missing parts, and support relevant departments with quotations for the purpose of tenders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Responsible for the preparation and processing of purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent Technical Diploma in Administration
  • 5 to 7 years of experience
  • Good verbal communication skills, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work alone and as a member of a team
  • Ability to understand and apply Company’s procedures & processes
  • Knowledge of using Outlook, MS-Office (Excel word, Power Point) and internet search
