Planning Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing the detailed schedules for the Engineering, Procurement and Construction phases of the project, including preparation and maintenance of Site “look ahead” Plans from the main Project Primavera P3 and Microsoft Project planning tools utilizing Microsoft Excel.
• Interrogate interdisciplinary schedule requirements and restraints to ensure logical work sequences across all disciplines of the project.
• Responsible for preparing Schedules, Graphs, Bar Charts, Progress Curves and Spread Sheet Reports for regular site-based reports and progress reviews for the Project Controls Manager and Delivery Project Managers as requested.
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
• 5 to 7 years of experience
• More than 5 years in planning knowledge and experience with Primavera, MS Project
• Experience in site installation activities related to the civil engineering industry is desirable
• Must be well organized
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to foresee potential problems and to avoid them by preplanning
