Logistics and Transport Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate forecasting, customer services, or planning services.
  • Manage logistics personnel, and logistics systems and direct daily operations.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate the transportation operations within an organization or the activities of organizations that provide transportation services.
  • Analyze all aspects of company logistics to determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transporting products or supplies.
  • Plan and implement material flow management system to meet clients’ requirement.
  • Supervise the work of logistics specialists, planners, schedulers or supervisors, and analyze the financial impact of proposed logistics changes, such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes and mixes, and carriers.
  • Create policies and procedures for logistics activities, and design models for use in evaluating logistics programs and services.
  • Direct distribution centre operation to ensure achievement of cost, productivity, accuracy, or timeliness objectives, and ensure carrier compliance with company policies and procedures for product transit and delivery.

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent Technical Diploma in Administration
  • More than 10 years of experience
  • Good verbal communication skills, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work alone and as a member of a team
  • Ability to understand and apply Company’s procedures & processes
  • Knowledge in using Outlook, MS-Office (Excel word, Power Point) and internet search
