Insulation Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise and coordinate activities of construction workers.
• Examine and inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and to ensure that specifications are met.
• Train workers in construction methods, operation of equipment, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Read specifications, such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements and to plan procedures. Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements of specific jobs.
• Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
• Estimate material or worker requirements to complete jobs.
• Coordinate work activities with other construction project activities.
  
  

Job Requirements:

• High School or Technical Diploma or Associate's Degree
• 7 to 10 years of experience
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes & methods and the tools involved in the fabrication, installation of insulation and aluminum jacketing for maximizing the effective manufacture
• Knowledge of business and resource allocation, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources, and meeting quality standards
• Knowledge of machines and tools, uses, repair, and maintenance
• Good English Language and good PC skills
