Heavy Equipment Electrical Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitor the work of electricians and provide guidance as needed.
• Ensure that the subordinates produce quality work.
• Prepare schedules, assign work, and responsible for training employees.
• Motivate electricians to increase their productivity and meet work goals.
• Ensure proper maintenance of equipment, compliance with electrical codes, and adherence to safety regulations.
• Assist with electrical system installation, troubleshooting and repair as needed.
• Purchase supplies when needed.
• Ensure adequate inventory, prioritize purchases, prepare cost estimates and document their purchases.
• Keep records of electrical operations, timesheets and employees’ evaluation.
  
  

Job Requirements:

• Relative experience in the field is required
• Technical Diploma is a plus
• Strong leadership skills
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are necessary in order to assist when technical problems arise
• Knowledge of all construction equipment
• Knowledge of power distribution systems in a Vehicle & Heavy Equipment
• Supervisory skills
• Effective verbal and listening communications skills
• Self motivated with high energy level
• High level of English communicating and listening skills
• Ability to read and write English to keep daily records
• Must work independently and ability to maintain a schedule of work
• Computer literate
